Organizations that Publish

Each year, nearly one-third of the upper-level students earn credit working on a one of four student-edited journals. Through this experience, students learn the inside of legal scholarship, develop their own writing skills and even may have their note chosen for publication. Selection to the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal, the William and Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review, the William and Mary Journal of Women and the Law, and the William and Mary Law Review is made through a joint journal competition held at the conclusion of the students' first full year of law school.

The Marshall-Wythe Press, the student newspaper, publishes news, feature stories, photographs, and editorials by members of the Law School community.

The Military Law Society publishes an on-line Journal of Military and Veteran Law .  Students of the MLS volunteer to work on this journal which is not formally affiliated with William & Mary Law School.

The William & Mary Business Law Review has launched its website.  This is a newly organized journal where students do not earn course credit.  Their website includes information about the Review, its members, subscriptions, article submission, donations, a peak at Issue I, and much more.
